So another bar but further than the city centre, it will take you a 10 min walk from the Ad lib hotel to reach that place. A typical Thai bar the owners of that place are very kind and so friendly. As soon you enter the door and sit at the counter you will feel at home.

A very well-decorated bar, with its old wooden pillars, and brick wall. Of course, Iron barstools and a concrete counter come to give a touch of modernity to the place.

The place seems to look small but you will feel comfortable and you will feel good in this venue. Small wooden tables complete the room, where you can sit and enjoy a drink with friends.

Of course, a pool table is available to have fun and to compete with your partner or group of friends. Actart Cafe & Studio is in the Kon Kaen pool league like many bars in the area, so maybe some nights it will be busy around the table.

New: the pool table was recently refurbished (January 2024), so it’s the best moment to head to this venue.

What about the drinks:

The bar has some imported beers from Germany, Belgium and Laos. It seems that depending on the month you go there, the list of beers may change. Of course, local beers are available, in a large format only.
When we were there in the fridge, we saw some Belgium Hoogarden rosee and peach… Beer Laos… Franzishaner weissbier,… A lot of empty bottles are visible on the shelf, so that was the beer list available there.

Another ace of the bar is that some nights it will have jam sessions, so you will need to follow their Facebook page to stay tuned.

Actart Cafe&Studio propose some food serving but it’s more like snacks. They have the best food to eat while you are drinking some very good cold beers.

Something to mention, while you are drinking a cold beer, they will give you a small plate of snacks. That is something that becomes rare during this period time due to the “Situation” 🙂
