Like everywhere in Thailand, getting around the town is easy, Tuk-tuk, taxis, bus, songthaew, boat,…
The best way is to visit the town on foot, but some hotel proposes a bicycle rental. Bikes can be hired for around 50 baht a day. But some activities and attractions are a bit further away and it’s better to reach them by taxis, minibuses. There is songthaew route North-South and you can also hire on, the average cost is 100 baht a journey. If you hire a songthaew for the day the cost will depend on the distance you drive.
Maenamkwai road is around 2.8 km long, and start from the River Kwai Bridge to the Death Railway Museum, this road is filled with restaurants, bars, shopping, so it easy to have a walk on that street.
