This restaurant offers quality Thai and European cuisine at Thai prices. The restaurant’s speciality is the Moo Kata. This typical Thai dish is a mix between fondue and grilling.

It is a metal dome placed on the embers. The edge of the dome collects broth and vegetables while the centre, which is not submerged, allows grilling of seafood or strips of meat. The particularity of the Chill Out 84 lies in the fact that the moo kata is not offered as a buffet but served as a set. All premium and carefully selected foods are kept cool until ready to prepare your set.

Nin (the owner) who speaks Thai, English and a little French welcome you in a charming and relaxing setting. You can also eat well on the covered terrace or in the garden. The place is located at the bottom of a small soi, soi 5 on Thappraya Road which connects Pattaya to Jomtien. To get there from central Pattaya, it will cost you a hundred baht via Bolt Taxi or 10 baht per person if you take a songthaew at the crossroads of the 2nd road and Pattaya Thai.

We went there early in April and We really enjoyed our Thai food. The place is in a very quiet street, so it’s so cool to eat without street noise. Lay back in a beautiful garden, it’s also nice to eat in a green place. Price are very reasonable and the quality of the dishes was on top.  Western food was looking very tasteful and well served,… with a smile. We will be back
